About the HALB Leadership Podcast

Presented by the Harvard Association for Law and Business (HALB).

We’ve heard the murmurs: “the legal profession is at the tipping point of dramatic change.” But are law students sufficiently equipped to succeed and avoid being blindsided in the face of such change? In this podcast, targeted at law and pre-law students, we seek out powerful ideas on how our generation of law students can survive, thrive and grow as leaders in the face of a changing legal profession.

HALB is one of the largest, most innovative student organizations at Harvard Law School—and home to thousands of students with interests at the intersection of law and business. To learn more, please visit our website and follow us on Instagram and Facebook.

Season One is hosted by Harvard Law School student and HALB board member, Genevieve Antono.

The cost of producing Season One of HALB Leadership Podcast has been generously sponsored by international law firm, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Simpson Thacher has no influence or control over the content of this podcast.

About the Host

Genevieve Antono is a student at Harvard Law School and a board member at the Harvard Association for Law and Business. Gennie graduated from both Columbia University and The University of Hong Kong. Prior to law school, she worked as a Real Estate Legal & Compliance Analyst at The Blackstone Group and as an SEO Law Fellow at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. About the Harvard Association for Law and Business

The Harvard Association for Law and Business (HALB) is the premier student group addressing the business interests of Harvard Law School students. We aim to provide a forum for students to pursue interests in business both within and outside of law, as well as provide numerous networking and recruiting opportunities for various business-related interests.

We believe that top business lawyers and legally-trained business leaders can provide their companies with a critical competitive edge in shaping business strategies with legal strategies, risks and ramifications in mind.

HALB routinely sponsors speaker panels from traditional areas of interest such as management consulting and investment banking, to other areas such as private equity, hedge funds, venture capital and entrepreneurship. In addition, we sponsor top business recruiters in various events designed to reach out to the HLS community. Lastly, HALB organizes regular networking events with other HALB members, HBS students, alumni and other professionals as well as access to HLS alumni working in the business community.
